The AUF was founded in January 2009 as a multinational higher educational institution. Aim is to provide high quality on-line distance learning based on biblical foundations. The university has unique opportunities for further development, as its methods are built around the idea of a cultural sensitive adaptation and integration of young emigrants from the former USSR into American and West-European society. Competent Christian higher education is needed.
Our mission: To provide creative state-of-the-art secular and biblical education based on the Christian world view.
Our target group: English and Russian speaking citizens of the USA and other countries, as well as applicants who only speak one of the two languages.
Teaching languages: English and Russian.
Faculty and staff: Licensed instructors from the USA, Canada, Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and others.
Branches of study: BBI; MBI; International Management; International Law, including admiralty law, air and cosmic law; Psychology; Linguistics and Philology; Theology.
Awarded degrees: Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and PhD.
Employment perspectives: Specialists who master both languages, English and Russian, who are familiar with the specific peculiarities of the Northern American, Western European, Russian, Ukrainian and Belorussian economies, law and psychology are on high demand on the job market today, not only within the territory of the CIS, but actually on all continents.
The doubtlessly high professional knowledge and skills that our students get during their educational period will let them easily find jobs in all spheres of business and service and will make them competent to meet the competition with other post-graduates.
Moral and ethical qualities: Besides professionalism priority will always be a high ethical standard. Our graduates will have extensively studied Christian disciplines (Fundamentals of Christianity, History of Christianity, Christian Ethics, Christian World View, Bible Study). General educational disciplines (Philosophy, Sociology and others) are studied in light of a definite Christian world outlook. The foundation stone of our university education is the Word of God – the Bible.
Uniqueness of our university program: Our experienced instructors provide highly professional education especially for those emigrants from the former USSR who undergo adaptation hardships in traditional American universities and colleges. For those English and Russian speaking citizens of other countries who look for a bi-lingual university education (Russian and English) there is great variety of programs and degrees.
BBI and MBI courses are taught entirely in English, so the knowledge of Russian is not necessary.
We predominantly focus on young active Christians who wish and aspire to change the world together with us and according to God’s Word.
